“The right thing done the right way.”

Purpose: God is not only interested in what we do, but how and why. As believers we need to make sure we have the right method and motivation in all that we do.

1. There is no right way to do a wrong thing. (1 Sam 15)
2. The right thing done the wrong way is wrong. (1 Chron 13)
3. The right thing done for the wrong reason is wrong. (Matt 6:1-6)

God rejoices in the restoration of His sons and has made every provision for it. When we are prodigal we need to:

Come to ourselves - recognize that we are not living the life of a son.
Get up and go - have a change of mind (repentance).
Confess to our Father.
